Privacy Policy

We collect only the information needed to provide and improve the service:

• Account information: name, email address, login method, account tier, subscription status, broker connection status, and account settings.
• Authentication information: hashed passwords for email/password accounts, authentication tokens, refresh tokens, and login timestamps. We do not store your Google or Apple password.
• Uploaded chart images: screenshots or images you choose to upload for AI analysis. These may contain chart data, symbols, annotations, or other visual information visible in the image.
• Analysis requests: prompts, questions, selected assets, conversation context, and AI-generated responses.
• Payment and subscription records: plan name, subscription status, transaction identifiers, payment provider, amount, currency, and billing events. We do not store full credit card numbers or card security codes.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser or device type, app version, pages or screens viewed, feature usage, request logs, crash or error information, and security logs.
• Support and feedback data: messages you send to us, feedback, ratings, contact details, and information needed to respond to support requests.

ChartViews AI allows you to upload chart screenshots or image files so the AI Analyst can produce educational chart analysis. Uploading an image is optional, and you control which image you submit.

• Uploaded images are transmitted securely to our backend and to our AI processing provider only for the purpose of generating your requested analysis.
• We process uploaded images ephemerally and do not store them permanently as part of your account.
• Uploaded chart images are not sold, not used for advertising, and not used by ChartViews AI to identify you personally.
• You should avoid uploading screenshots that contain unnecessary personal information, account numbers, balances, private messages, or other sensitive content.
• AI providers may temporarily process image data as necessary to return the requested analysis, subject to their service terms and data protection commitments.

If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide us with your Apple user identifier and, depending on your Apple settings, your name and email address or a private relay email address. We use this information only to create, secure, and sign you into your ChartViews AI account.

If you choose Google login, Google may provide your Google user identifier, name, email address, and profile image. We use this information only to create, secure, and sign you into your ChartViews AI account.

We do not receive your Apple ID password or Google password, and we do not use Apple or Google login data for advertising or tracking.

We use information for the following purposes:

• To create, authenticate, and manage user accounts.
• To provide AI-powered chart analysis and support chat features.
• To process subscriptions, confirm paid access, and prevent payment fraud.
• To enforce plan limits, daily analysis limits, and account security controls.
• To provide customer support, respond to requests, and send service notices.
• To maintain, debug, secure, and improve ChartViews AI.
• To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

ChartViews AI analysis is provided for educational purposes only and is not financial, investment, or trading advice.

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe or another payment provider shown at checkout. Payment providers may collect billing details, payment method information, transaction details, and fraud-prevention data under their own privacy policies.

ChartViews AI receives limited payment records such as plan name, subscription status, amount, currency, payment provider, transaction ID, customer ID, and renewal or cancellation events. We use this data to activate subscriptions, maintain account access, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet accounting requirements.

We do not store full credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or card security codes on our servers.

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers when necessary to operate ChartViews AI, provide the features you request, process payments, secure the service, or comply with law.

• AI processing providers process prompts and uploaded chart images to generate analysis.
• Payment providers process subscription payments, invoices, fraud checks, and billing events.
• Authentication providers such as Apple and Google help authenticate users who choose those login methods.
• Hosting, database, storage, analytics, and security providers help us operate, monitor, protect, and improve the service.
• Legal or regulatory recipients may receive data when required by law, court order, tax rules, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not share personal data with data brokers. We do not use personal data to track users across third-party apps or websites.

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, store consent choices, detect abuse, improve performance, and understand basic service usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working correctly.

• Account information is retained while your account is active and deleted when you delete your account, except where limited retention is required by law.
• Uploaded chart screenshots are processed ephemerally and are not stored permanently by ChartViews AI.
• Authentication tokens are retained until expiry, logout, rotation, or account deletion.
• Payment and invoice records may be retained for up to 7 years where required for tax, accounting, chargeback, or compliance purposes.
• Security logs may be retained for up to 90 days unless a longer period is needed to investigate abuse, fraud, or legal claims.
• Aggregated or de-identified analytics may be retained in a form that does not identify you.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including TLS encryption in transit, password hashing, access controls, token-based authentication, and operational monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect user data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

ChartViews AI is operated by ChartViews AI F.Z.E in the United Arab Emirates. Your information may be processed in the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the European Economic Area, or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

• To delete your account, visit chartviews.ai/delete-account while signed in, or email us.
• To request a copy or export of your account data, email support@chartviews.ai with the subject "Data export request."
• To correct account information, update it in your account where available or contact support.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request. We aim to respond within 30 days unless a shorter or longer period is required or permitted by law.

ChartViews AI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app, on the website, or by email.
