How to choose an AI chart analysis tool
Six questions to ask before you rely on any tool that reads charts for you, and how ChartViews answers each one.
AI chart analysis tools differ more in how they work than in what they promise. These criteria apply to any of them. We list how ChartViews answers each, so you can check our answers against the product.
1. Structured output
Does every analysis come back in the same layout, or does the shape change with each prompt? A fixed structure makes two charts comparable and makes gaps obvious.
Every ChartViews report has the same 8 modules: trend, support and resistance, volatility, key levels, risk/reward, invalidation and more, with a score and a verdict.
2. Risk/reward and invalidation
Does the tool say where the idea is wrong and what the trade risks against what it could return? An analysis with a target and no invalidation is half an idea.
Each report states an invalidation level, stop context and risk/reward, and is labelled educational. It is built to show what would prove the idea wrong.
3. An honest public track record
Does the provider publish results with the method, including the losses? Look for the rules (risk per idea, fees, what is counted) and for nothing being deleted afterwards.
ChartViews publishes the results of its automatic signals on a public page. The method is stated there: 1% risk per idea, no fees, all wins and losses, nothing deleted. Past results do not predict future results.
4. Data privacy
What happens to the images and account data you give the tool? Read the privacy policy, check whether you can delete your account, and look for who operates the service.
The operator is named in the Terms and the Privacy Policy, and you can delete your account yourself.
5. Mobile apps
Do you want to analyse a chart on your phone, straight after taking the screenshot? Check for a native app on your platform, not only a mobile website.
ChartViews has an Android app on Google Play and an iPhone app on the App Store. Your history is the same on web and in the apps.
6. Price
Is there a free way to test it before paying? Are the daily limits clear, and can you leave without a fight?
New accounts get 3 free analyses with no card. After that you choose a plan with a daily limit. The current plans are on the Plans page.

Questions
- What should I look for in an AI chart analysis tool?
- Six things: a structured, repeatable output; invalidation and risk/reward on every idea; an honest public track record with its method; clear data privacy terms; a mobile app if you work from your phone; and a free way to test before you pay.
- How do I check an AI trading tool's track record?
- Look for a public page that states the method: risk per idea, whether fees are included, which ideas are counted, and that losses are shown. Be careful with results that come without a method or that only show winners.
- Can an AI chart analysis predict the market?
- No. An AI report reads the chart you give it and describes levels, trend and risk. It can misread a chart and it does not predict price. Treat it as a structured second opinion, not a forecast.
- Is a structured report better than a chat answer?
- It depends on the job. A fixed format makes charts easy to compare and keeps risk in view every time. A chat assistant is more flexible for open questions. Many traders use both.
- Is ChartViews financial advice?
- No. Reports are educational and are not trade signals or personal recommendations. Past results do not predict future results.
ChartViews is educational, not financial advice, and past results do not predict future results.
